Preble County Habitat for Humanity builds modest, decent, and affordable homes for families that apply and qualify for the homebuyer program. Homebuyers build their home alongside volunteers from our community.
Together, we build homes that meet the needs of the family – such as the number of bedrooms or accessibility features needed.
Homeowners also attend our homebuyer education program to enhance their financial literacy and prepare them for paying for their home with an affordable mortgage.
Energy Efficient Homes
The homes we build together are constructed with energy efficiency in mind. Long-term affordability is prioritized through energy efficiency that is built into the design of the home as well as the appliances, windows, furnace, insulation, and lighting installed in the home.
